Like the passengers he picks up on Rio de Janeiro’s streets, John Cruz Forte has a price to pay: But his it to a higher power. His troublesome past left him with visions, and a debt to pay. He sees his passengers’ problems; their pain; and like it or not he must act. It’s the deal he made. It’s what keeps him safe. What keeps him alive.
