24 Jul Ilha Rá-Tim-Bum – O Martelo de Vulcano
Five young men survive a shipwreck and are driven to an unknown island, inhabited by fantastic creatures and refuge of ancient mysteries. There, the group of friends Gigante [Giant], Micróbio [Microbe], Rouxinol [Nightingale], Majestade [Majesty] and Raio [Ray] will face the villain Nefasto [Baleful] (a bacteria with a size of an adult human being created in a scientific accident), who, helped by his assistants Zabumba (a male drone) and Polca (a female dragonfly), will do anything to take possession of the magical object that will make him almost impossible to beat – The Vulcan Hammer.
“Nefasto discovers that if he found the hammer, it will make him the most powerful being in the universe,” says director Eliana Fonseca. “That’s why the children must find it before he does, solving puzzles.” The only one who knows the whereabouts of the magical object, the witch Hipácia (an Egyptian sorceress with more than 2,000 years old that serves as a guru and protector of the boys) receives a ball of energy and loses her memory, which forces the children to take over the mission.
Besides the special abilities, the boys count with the help of Solek (a lizard) and Nhã-nhã-nhã (a female spider).
